Shahab Yar Khan, born 1967 in Lahore; 1989: BA degree in English after studying at the Government College in Lahore and at the University of Punjab in Lahore; 1993: MA degree from the University of Punjab in Lahore; 1994-1995: Research Fellowship at the Keynesian Institute of Management of Sciences (London University); 2007: PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Influences of Shakespearan Drama on the 20th century Post-Colonial Literature"); He was a senior teacher for English Literature Studies at the London University (1994-1996), a senior teaching assistant for English Literature at the Mohamedan Anglo-Oriental College in Lahore (1995 -1998), a visiting professor of Shakespearan Studies at the International University of Sarajevo (2008-2009), a visiting professor for doctoral studies in English Literature at the International Burch University, Sarajevo, a visiting Professor of English Literature at the Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar (1999-2012); since 2008 founding member and coordinator of the Iqbal Chair at the Faculty of Islamic Studies at the Sarajevo University; since 1998 professor of English Renaissance Literature, Shakespeare and his era, contemporary Shakespeare, practical Shakespeare, English novel of the 18th and 19th century and founder of the Shakespeare Drama Club (1999).
